Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure that empowers data-driven decision-making across all business functions. You will serve as a subject matter expert and data steward, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality analytics solutions while upholding governance standards and industry’s best practices. This role will report to the Manager, BI Engineering within the Tech Services organization., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting solutions that support analytics needs across all business units.

  • Assemble and integrate complex datasets that satisfy both functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize existing reports, dashboards, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Act as a companywide subject matter expert for enterprise analytics.
  • Invoke and observe data governance standards across all systems and processes.
  • Monitor and support change management controls in alignment with internal audit and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to and resolve system tickets submitted by end users, including break/fix support and root cause analysis.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to data workflows, processes, and infrastructure to enhance reliability, efficiency, and data quality.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and foster relationships.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and data findings to stakeholders in a clear manner.
  • Educate team members and end users as needed on analytics systems and processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, or a related quantitative field; equivalent professional experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Proven experience in a Data Engineer or equivalent technical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with BI visualization platforms such as Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of data governance principles, access control frameworks, and change management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools and Power Platform.
  • Experience using Microsoft Fabric with focus in Lakehouse development., * Experience in Corporate Real Estate industry.
  • Proficiency in Python with data extraction and ingestion.
  • Prior experience in finance or an accounting function.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance processes and standards.
  • Experience in integrating AI/ML capabilities or large language model tooling.
