Job description

ETL & Data Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
  • Write, optimize, and tune advanced SQL queries and stored procedures (SPO). [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • File Transfer & Integration:
  • Configure and manage secure data file movements using IBM Sterling Connect: Direct across internal and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot transmission failures, network node errors, and data encryption settings. [1]
  • Scheduling & Automation:
  • Build, monitor, and maintain automated batch schedules using CA ESP Workload Automation.
  • Integrate Informatica jobs and Connect: Direct transfers cleanly into ESP application definitions and dependencies. [1]
  • Support & Maintenance:
  • Perform root-cause analysis for production scheduling abends, pipeline failures, and lag. [1]

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in enterprise ETL development and production support. [1]
  • Core Skills:
  • Expert proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter/Cloud.
  • Strong relational database and SQL/PL-SQL skills.
  • Subject matter expert level related to IBM Connect: Direct for managed file transfers.
  • Proven experience with CA ESP Workload Automation for job scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation tasks. [1, 2, 3]
