The User Experience (UX) Designer leads the design of customer- and employee-centered experiences by championing the voice of the user throughout the product development lifecycle. This role is responsible for creating intuitive, relevant, and scalable experiences through the development of customer journey maps, service blueprints, and end-to-end process maps that connect user needs with underlying business operations. Working across cross-functional teams, the UX Designer aligns customer journeys, operational processes, systems, and workflows to deliver seamless experiences that drive engagement, efficiency, and business outcomes., * Provide thought leadership in design thinking, user-centered design, and experience strategy.
- Collaborate with end users, product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business and user needs, define the experience vision, and ensure design intent is preserved throughout implementation and across the broader ecosystem.
- Translate customer journeys into clearly defined and measurable end-to-end business and system processes.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to map current-state and future-state processes, identifying pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
- Align UX outputs with broader enterprise workflows, data flows, and ecosystem dependencies.
- Champion user experience principles and advocate for the organization’s UX transformation initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on assigned product team(s).
- Solve complex design challenges and create enjoyable digital experiences.
- Leverage user research, usability testing, personas, journey mapping, and analytics to develop a deep understanding of customer and employee needs.
- Visualize experiences via wireframes, flow maps, visual mockups, and prototypes.
- Contribute to and help evolve the enterprise design system to ensure consistency and usability across digital products and experiences.
- Stay current on emerging UX methodologies, design trends, technologies, and best practices, applying them where appropriate to improve products and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Service Design, other relevant degree, or demonstrated technical field experience required.
- 3 years of experience in user centered design, with a focus on digital and end-to- end process design.
- 3 years of experience leading UX conversations in a collaborative team setting.
- Experience with user testing platforms preferred.
- Experience with building components for DLS preferred.
- Demonstrated experience creating process maps and workflow diagrams that connect user experience with business operation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate user research and insights into intuitive, user-centered digital experiences and actionable design solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and operational workflows and translate them into process maps, workflow diagrams, and user-centered solutions.
- Fluency in best practices for information architecture and responsive design, as well as deep and broad knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
- Ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
- Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies, including usability testing, test design, moderation, and synthesis of user insights.
- Proficiency with design/process flow tools such as: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid.
- Experience in an Agile framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Communicate effectively with leaders across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management skills including leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment.
