Job description

Globant is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support one of our clients within the Supply Chain Ariba and Product Sourcing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP solutions that enable business processes, improve system performance, and ensure reliable integration across enterprise platforms.dice+1, * Design, develop, and customize SAP applications using ABAP and related SAP development tools.

Build and maintain scalable solutions that support business-critical functions.
Develop and support interfaces between SAP and other enterprise systems.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and implementation approaches.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across SAP applications and integrations.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and design artifacts.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Contribute to SAP S/4HANA initiatives using RAP and Fiori/UI5.
Participate in Agile delivery practices, including Scrum or Kanban ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint execution.
Use collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teams, and Zoom effectively.
Support CI/CD, source control, and code quality practices as part of the development lifecycle.

Requirements

This position requires strong expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, RAP, and Fiori/UI5, along with the ability to translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a collaborative problem solver, and a self-directed contributor who thrives in an agile delivery environment.dice, * 3 to 10+ years of SAP development experience, with demonstrated growth in technical ownership.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with RAP and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
Proven ability to design, implement, test, and maintain enterprise interfaces.
Experience reviewing functional requirements and converting them into technical deliverables.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and customer-focused environment.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
Experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Hub, or API Management.
Exposure to CAP development.
Experience with SolMan, Focused Build, or ChaRM.
Working knowledge of GitHub or GitLab.
Background in product sourcing or quotation management processes.
