Job description
We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in developing cloud-native applications and integrations on AWS. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Amazon AppFlow, and other AWS services to enable enterprise data migration and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API integrations, event-driven architectures, automation, and cloud services., AWS Lambda Development
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Build Python-based Lambda functions for data transformation, orchestration, and automation.
- Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, and monitoring within Lambda functions.
Amazon AppFlow
- Configure and manage Amazon AppFlow for SaaS (Veeva Vault RIM) data integration.
- Develop field mappings, filters, and scheduled or incremental data flows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AppFlow executions.
AWS Cloud Services
- Configure and manage Amazon S3 buckets, folder structures, lifecycle policies, and encryption.
- Implement event-driven workflows using Amazon Event Bridge.
- Configure CloudWatch dashboards, alarms, and log monitoring.
- Manage secrets using AWS Secrets Manager.
- Configure IAM Roles and Policies following least-privilege principles.
API & Integration
- Develop integrations with REST APIs using OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Build reusable integration components for enterprise applications.
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Automation & DevOps
- Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Automate deployment of AWS resources using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Participate in code reviews and follow DevOps best practices.
Monitoring & Support
- Monitor cloud resources and serverless applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Support incident resolution and operational activities.
Requirements
- Experience integrating SaaS applications with AWS.
- Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven design.
- Familiarity with document management or enterprise archival solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Veeva Vault APIs or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Understanding of data migration concepts and metadata-driven integrations.
- Exposure to Life Sciences or Healthcare domain is an advantage.
