Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE., eNGINE is hiring a VMware Engineer with deep VMware experience to support and optimize a large-scale virtual infrastructure environment with over 50 ESXi hosts. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization, requiring deep expertise in the VMware stack, including Aria, Site Recovery Manager, and vCenter.

This is not a routine support role-this engineer will lead VMware upgrades, remediation efforts, and infrastructure strategy. You’ll work closely with a collaborative infrastructure team to enhance performance, ensure uptime, and maintain security compliance across the virtual environment., * Administer and upgrade VMware environments, including vCenter, Aria, SRM, and vReps

  • Lead patching, remediation, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the VMware stack
  • Partner with other infrastructure team members to maintain enterprise stability
  • Participate in strategic planning and document infrastructure performance metrics
  • Drive or support VMware-specific projects and rollouts

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing VMware infrastructures at enterprise scale (50 or ESXi hosts)
  • Deep knowledge of VMware Aria Suite, SRM, and vCenter
  • Experience with security patching and virtualization strategy
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level data center operations and security standards

Preferred Certifications

  • VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
  • CIAE (VCE Vblock Certification)
