Job description

We are seeking experienced software professionals to perform manual code reviews of AI-generated code for a leading Silicon Valley technology company. This role is focused on evaluating code quality not writing new software. Successful candidates will analyze AI-generated code, identify issues, verify correctness, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices across multiple programming languages. Candidates should have extensive experience working within mature software engineering organizations where rigorous pull request (PR) reviews, coding standards, and collaborative development processes are part of everyday engineering.

Key Responsibilities Review AI-generated source code for correctness, readability, maintainability, and quality. Identify bugs, logical flaws, security concerns, and performance issues. Evaluate code against engineering best practices and established coding standards. Review code across multiple programming languages. Provide clear technical feedback and recommendations. Complete assigned code review tasks accurately and efficiently. Collaborate remotely within a structured review workflow. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary source code., Technical Writer (Software Documentation) Technical writing focused on software engineering API documentation Developer documentation Engineering documentation OR Senior Software Engineer Experience at large technology companies where code review is a critical part of the development lifecycle, such as: Large enterprise software organizations Cloud providers AI/ML companies Major SaaS platforms FAANG or similar technology environments

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong understanding of software design principles and code quality. Significant experience performing peer code reviews and reviewing pull requests. Experience working within large-scale software engineering organizations. Strong knowledge of Git-based development workflows. Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States., Pull Requests Merge Requests Production code Enterprise codebases

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience with several of the following: Python Java JavaScript / TypeScript C++ Go Rust Git / GitHub CI/CD workflows Software architecture Unit testing Static analysis tools (The work spans multiple languages and is not limited to Python.), Senior-level software engineering experience. Excellent analytical thinking. Strong attention to detail. Ability to identify subtle coding issues. Experience working in highly structured engineering environments. Comfort reviewing large volumes of code. Strong written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
