The Retail Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the stability, performance and continuous improvement of the technology supporting Dolce & Gabbana in the United States and Canada, with a particular focus on store-side technology, the connectivity and end-user infrastructure that enables them. The role pairs hands-on technical ownership with proactive coordination across the regional IT team, contributing to a seamless customer and employee experience., + Act proactively and transparently to ensure the optimal functioning of network, connectivity and end-user infrastructure at retail locations and corporate, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points and residual on-premise servers.
- Oversee the lifecycle of Retail Store Technology, ensuring stability, functionality and efficiency across all locations.
- Prevent and troubleshoot infrastructure- and application-related issues; escalate when appropriate and maintain full ownership until resolution.
- Manage backups, business continuity routines and disaster recovery procedures within scope, aligning with global standards as the cloud transition progresses.
- Coordinate and assist the provisioning and installation of new equipment during upgrade cycles, new store openings and other business expansions, in close coordination with the regional and global teams. Coordinate external vendors as needed.
- Collaborate and coordinate closely with the IT Project & Support Specialist and the PC & Telecommunications Specialist on shared activities such as store openings, hardware rollouts and end-user support.
- Collaborate with corporate, retail and project stakeholders to anticipate support needs, improve user experience and identify opportunities to streamline retail technology.
- Maintain and update documentation, asset records and other shared materials to ensure accuracy and usability across the team., + Uptime and performance of retail systems, networks and POS platforms achieved through proactive monitoring and preventive measures.
- Average issue resolution time and first-attempt resolution rate across infrastructure and application requests.
- Completeness and accuracy of new installations and POS configurations by go-live deadlines.
- Quality of coordination across the regional IT team, measured by smooth execution of joint initiatives.
- Overall user satisfaction with retail technology and end-user support.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of retail store technology, POS systems and store-side connectivity.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls) and enterprise end-user computing.
- Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS-based services and their integration with retail operations.
- Windows Server administration skills to support residual on-premise systems at the stores and corporate.
- Cybersecurity fundamentals applied to retail and end-user environments.

- Internal client orientation, + 3+ years of experience in a comparable role, with a meaningful component in retail IT or POS support, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail environments.
- Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical work with cross-functional coordination across peers and external vendors.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure, end-user computing and at least one cloud platform (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
- Familiarity with SD-WAN deployments and modern retail connectivity standards.
- Cybersecurity awareness applied to day-to-day operations; Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications are a plus.
- Ability to perform calmly and maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced retail contexts.
- Open to occasional travel across the region.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a client-oriented mindset and ability to listen effectively.
