Job description

Design & Strategy: Develop test plans, requirement matrices, test fixtures, and custom equipment, while defining complete specifications and testing procedures for new products.

Software Development: Build automated test software utilizing National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW and TestStand.

Hardware Assembly & Integration: Assemble, bring up, debug, and validate new electronic designs for specialized test equipment.

Verification & Documentation: Perform Verification and Validation (V&V) activities-including Gage R&R analysis-and author detailed technical test procedures.

Production Transition: Successfully transition automated test solutions from early-stage development into full sustaining production environments.

Proposals & Concepts: Prepare technical concepts, proposals, and cost/design strategies for new automated testing solutions.

Collaboration & Communication: Provide clear project status updates to management and interface technical details effectively with internal teams, external customers, and vendors.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Test Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will own the electrical test solution design lifecycle from initial requirements definition through development, implementation, and validation. You will operate comfortably across at-a- desk design, hands-on lab work, and manufacturing support., Required Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited institution.

Experience: 5-10 years of functional test hardware and software development experience.

Software Skills: Proficiency with NI LabVIEW and TestStand (or equivalent test programming software).

Hardware Skills: Hands-on experience and proficiency with standard electronic test and measurement equipment.
-
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Experience with SolidWorks or other MCAD software.

Practical RF (Radio Frequency) engineering experience.

Experience with military communication systems, VoIP, SIP, H.323, or Ethernet networking.
