Job description

Title: Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with AI Expertise Location: Austin, TX (primary) or Fort Mills, SC (secondary) Duration: 6 Months Note: Look infrastructure SME with AI in the network , DataCenter , Cloud (Azure or AWS) Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure and a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications across networking, cloud, data platforms, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will define infrastructure strategy, drive modernization initiatives, and leverage AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, security, reliability, and business outcomes., Infrastructure Strategy Define enterprise infrastructure architecture and technology roadmaps. Lead infrastructure modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Standardize infrastructure platforms, governance, and best practices. Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven infrastructure solutions. AI-Driven Infrastructure Operations Design and implement AI-powered infrastructure monitoring and observability. Utilize AIOps platforms for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and automated incident resolution. Implement intelligent capacity planning and performance optimization. Drive infrastructure automation using AI-assisted workflows. Network Infrastructure Design and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and data center networks. Implement AI-enabled network monitoring, predictive fault detection, and self-healing capabilities. Optimize network performance using telemetry and analytics. Support zero-trust and software-defined networking initiatives. Cloud Infrastructure Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Optimize cloud cost, security, scalability, and governance. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Integrate AI services into cloud operations and automation. Data Infrastructure Design scalable data platforms supporting AI and analytics workloads. Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize storage, compute, and data pipelines. Enable GPU infrastructure and high-performance computing environments for AI workloads. Support data governance, backup, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management. Cybersecurity Embed security into infrastructure architecture. Implement AI-powered threat detection and security monitoring. Support IAM, PAM, Zero Trust Architecture, SIEM, and SOAR solutions. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Automation & DevOps Develop infrastructure automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible. Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment. Improve operational efficiency through orchestration and automation. Promote GitOps and policy-as-code practices. Stakeholder Management Serve as the technical advisor for infrastructure strategy. Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, cloud engineers, and business stakeholders. Mentor infrastructure teams on AI-enabled operational practices. Present architecture recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 10 15+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience. Experience leading infrastructure transformation initiatives. Proven expertise in cloud, networking, data platforms, security, and AI-enabled infrastructure operations. Success Metrics Improved infrastructure availability and resilience. Reduced Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) using AIOps. Increased automation and operational efficiency. Optimized cloud utilization and infrastructure costs. Strengthened cybersecurity posture. Successful delivery of enterprise infrastructure modernization programs. Adoption of AI-driven operational capabilities across infrastructure domains.
