Job description
- Create technical designs for architecturally significant DevEx portfolio changes across business and technology domains.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to implement solutions according to standards and best practices.
- Evaluate vendor and in-house solutions against architecture standards and technical requirements.
- Manage value stream architecture runway and technical debt backlog with stakeholders including Product, Feature Leads, Infrastructure, and Information Security.
- Partner with peer Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to promote cohesive architecture patterns and approaches.
- Conduct hands-on proofs of concept to assess technologies and patterns for applicability and impact.
- Provide clear technical guidance to developers and engineers, and communicate status to product owners and scrum masters.
Requirements
We are seeking a DevEx Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise solution design, DevOps enablement, and scalable platform engineering and a proven ability to deliver resilient, secure, and high-performing architectures for cross-line-of-business developer experiences., * Broad solution design experience across Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, PostgreSQL, AI/LLM, Python, JavaScript, vendor packages, Tomcat/JBoss, and data analytics.
- Expertise with DevOps automation and enablement tools such as Jenkins, Ansible/Tower, Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
- Design and development experience for complex, integrated, high-volume applications with resiliency and performance patterns including caching, replication, load balancing, and clustering.
- Knowledge of integrated system security and protocols including AAA, token-based auth, OAuth/OIDC, and encryption.
- Ability to perform hands-on POCs and independently drive technical outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills to guide delivery partners and provide concise program status updates.
- Process expertise across the SDLC including requirements, build, test, deploy, release, and operate.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior large financial services or Bank of America experience.
- Experience enabling skills-based hiring environments or enterprise developer platforms.
