Job description
As a Security Officer Access Governance Analyst in Tucker, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through attentive service. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide our work., Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, food production facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Help maintain controlled access to production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and other restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
