Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to lead development, integration, and qualification of advanced e-beam systems. This role requires strong technical depth in systems level electronics development along with strong cross-functional leadership and system-level problem solving. The position is responsible for defining requirements, driving integration strategies, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring successful delivery of new technologies from concept through qualification., * Lead integration of electronics, software, and hardware subsystems to ensure system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

  • Drive system architecture, requirements definition, and verification strategies for advanced e-beam systems and test platforms.
  • Lead complex root cause investigations and system-level troubleshooting across hardware, software, and integration boundaries.
  • Develop and execute system characterization, validation, and qualification plans for new and existing products.
  • Provide technical leadership while partnering with electrical, software, optics, mechanical, and product engineering teams to resolve technical issues and tradeoffs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Strong foundation in electronics, hardware/software integration, and system-level engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements management, system integration, verification, and complex technical problem solving.
  • Proven ability to independently lead cross-functional technical efforts and execute complex engineering projects., * Experience developing or supporting software for hardware control, diagnostics, automation, or data acquisition (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB).
  • Experience with high-voltage systems, mixed-signal electronics, FPGA-based designs, or embedded control systems.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, inspection systems, e-beam technologies, or other advanced instrumentation environments., Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Benefits & conditions

Base Pay Range: $159,500.00 - $271,200.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
