SAP Project Managers

Please submit only senior SAP Project Managers who have personally managed complete SAP S/4HANA implementations. General IT Project Managers, SAP functional consultants, Scrum Masters and SAP Plant Maintenance consultants will not be considered.

We are looking for a senior SAP Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. The Project Manager will own project planning, execution, scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, governance, stakeholder communication, cutover and successful go-live.

This is a delivery-leadership position, not an SAP PM/Plant Maintenance functional role.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 10-15 years of overall IT project-management experience.
• At least 6-8 years managing SAP implementation programs.
• Three or more full-lifecycle SAP implementations preferred.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology across Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy and Run phases.
• Experience conducting and governing Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Strong understanding of clean-core principles.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans and critical paths.
• Hands-on ownership of project budgets, forecasts, financial tracking, revenue recognition, margins and burn rates.
• Experience with RAID management, change control, escalation and risk-mitigation processes.
• Experience leading steering-committee meetings, phase-gate reviews and go/no-go decisions.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional SAP teams, system integrators and onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Hands-on experience governing SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover, go-live, hypercare and transition to AMS.
• Executive-level stakeholder management and C-suite communication skills.
• Experience with SOW preparation, effort estimation, delivery-cost modelling and commercial change requests.
• Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, PP and WM/EWM sufficient to evaluate estimates, dependencies and solution-design decisions.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD/Order-to-Cash, including sales orders, pricing, delivery, billing and integration with MM, WM/EWM and FI/CO.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Tools and Technology:

• MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps or Smartsheet
• SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager or equivalent
• SAP Signavio exposure preferred
• Awareness of SAP BTP, integration architecture and cloud extensibility
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP delivery models

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
• SAP Activate Project Manager certification
• CSM, SAFe or PMI-ACP
