Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and working knowledge of React. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently owning features end-to-end, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment., * Own and deliver features throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable applications.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.
Participate in technical design discussions and provide implementation recommendations.
Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices.
Support production releases and troubleshoot issues when required.
Communicate progress, risks, and technical solutions effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Skills (Primary 70%)

Strong hands-on experience in Java
Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
Experience with distributed systems and enterprise application development
Strong understanding of software design principles and development best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile delivery methodologies

Secondary Skills (30%)

Working knowledge of React
Experience building and maintaining modern web applications
Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Nice to Have

Architecture and solution design experience
Experience defining application/repository structures and technical standards
Insurance domain experience
Cloud platform experience (AWS) is a plus, * 6+ years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on engineering background with the ability to contribute to coding activities
Ability to independently own features and drive them to production
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with Product Owners and stakeholders
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
