Job description
- Supporting the Construction Engineering team on the implementation of the regional 4G and 5G macro new build program.
- Provide per project updates upon request and communicate clearly with the Engineering team.
- Using system tools such as FUZE and the various modules within FUZE such as SPM and the PO Module as well as Gmail and Google Sheets.
- Pursuing technical issues, problem solving, and reviewing new technical products/services to the benefit and improvement of the overall network.
- Understand equipment requirements and be capable to adapt to new equipment changes based on new technologies.
- Purchase order management for equipment orders issued by the successful candidate as well as provide any support needed by the Construction Engineering team.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- A working knowledge of estimating, project controls, purchasing, and related project management activities.
- Experience in managing projects with a job value, and total man-power of 500+.
- Experience in managing a comprehensive project team in order to deliver a safe and quality project to the client.
- Examine estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and project schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports and other exhibits that may be required.
- Review bid from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids.
- Prepare project reports for management, client, or others.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all events, discussions and issues.
- Provide monthly projections of the status of the project.
- Attend weekly progress meetings and all other required meetings designated by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills
- Capable of multi-tasking project requirements
- Good organization skills
- Familiarity with cell site construction or hands-on experience with base station equipment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
DESIRED SKILLS:
- 2-5 years Samsung equipment and cell site construction experience
- Have good understanding and knowledge of using FUZE or experience with project tracking databases, * Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
