Job description
We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to own and continuously improve a portfolio of core financial applications for our REIT client. This is a project-focused role rather than a traditional ticket-driven support position.
The analyst will partner with Accounting, Operations, technology teams and external vendors to administer systems, configure functionality, support integrations, troubleshoot issues and improve financial workflows., * Administer, configure and support financial and ERP applications
- Partner with Accounting and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Support GL, AP, AR, financial reporting and related accounting workflows
- Coordinate system enhancements, integrations, upgrades and data-related initiatives
- Develop requirements, process documentation, test plans and user guides
- Lead or support testing, reconciliation and production validation
- Troubleshoot system, reporting and data-flow issues
- Use SQL to research data, validate results and support issue resolution
- Work with vendors and internal teams to prioritize and deliver improvements
- Support user adoption, training and organizational change initiatives
Requirements
- Three to five years of financial systems, ERP administration, business systems analysis or related experience
- Hands-on experience administering or configuring a financial or ERP platform
- Understanding of GL, AP, AR and financial reporting workflows
- Experience gathering requirements, testing, troubleshooting and creating documentation
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience supporting system integrations or data flows
- Experience working within a publicly traded company
- Change-management experience
- Ability to work the required Boston hybrid schedule, * Experience with MRI, Yardi or another real-estate or property-accounting platform
- Familiarity with applications such as Nexus, PredictAP, Versapay or Realogic
- Commercial real-estate or property-accounting experience
- Experience with SOX controls, audits or regulated financial processes
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, reporting tools or business-intelligence platforms
- Exposure to automation or AI-assisted productivity tools
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems or a related field
