Job description

We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer with expertise in Oracle Database Engineering and hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered database solutions. This role involves designing and building next-generation AI-powered data solutions that enhance user interactions with large-scale enterprise data platforms., * Design and build scalable enterprise database services and solutions

Troubleshoot critical database issues and perform root-cause analysis
Develop applications and database solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Shell scripting
Research and prototype Generative AI and LLM-powered database solutions
Build and maintain LLM-powered database assistants
Develop RAG pipelines using data from Oracle and PostgreSQL
Integrate AI-powered tools into database performance tuning and query optimization workflows
Collaborate with various teams for database releases and deployments

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of database engineering experience
7+ years of hands-on Oracle development and administration
Expert-level Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills
Strong experience with Python and Shell scripting
Experience with AWS, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Artifactory
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or ML pipelines
Strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted software development, * Experience with RDS Oracle and RDS PostgreSQL
Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines
Experience with pgvector or Oracle AI Vector Search
Working knowledge of OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock
AWS SageMaker or Azure ML certification
Experience with CI/CD for AI/ML model deployment
