IT - Systems Administrator

Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Company computer systems., * Develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components.

• Perform installations, maintenance and support of system software/hardware and user support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Configure, optimize, and monitor operating system software and servers.
• Develop and implement IT standards and documentation.
• Perform root cause analysis and create preventative measures.
• Provide end user support on escalated help desk tickets.
• Implement and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Define and execute project plans.
• Manage security audits and vulnerability/threat assessment.
• Manage software license and contract obligations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in related field. Relevant certifications: VCP, MCP, etc. Hands on experience building and supporting Microsoft stack IT infrastructure - Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL server, RDP. Hands on experience building and supporting highly available virtualized/SAN environments. Experience with Nimble and VMW preferred. Experience with cloud-based services preferred - 8x8, Azure, AWS. Experience managing LAN and WAN environments. Experience with WatchGuard firewalls preferred.
