Job description

Secure Access Group, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Information Management and SharePoint Online/Power Platform Subject Matter Expert to support the U.S. Marine Corps at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center near Bridgeport, California.

The selected individual will work within the MCMWTC S-3 Operations Section and serve as the contractor’s primary Information Management liaison. The position will provide direct support to the MCMWTC Deputy Operations Director, S-3 Operations Officer and other command stakeholders supporting Current Operations, Future Operations, Base and Installation Operations, Academics, Exercise Control, Range Control and the Instructor Group.

This position combines Information Management, Knowledge Management, Information Governance, Records Management, SharePoint Online administration, Microsoft Power Platform development, technical training and command-level coordination.

Primary ResponsibilitiesInformation Management and Command Coordination

  • Serve as the contractor’s primary liaison for Information Management activities.
  • Coordinate Information Management and Knowledge Management requirements across command staff sections and tenant organizations.
  • Serve as an interface with the MAGTF Training Command Knowledge Manager and Information Manager.
  • Participate in command planning meetings, Information Management working groups, staff meetings, program reviews and other coordination activities.
  • Communicate with internal and external Information Management organizations.
  • Develop or provide input for command briefings, reports, staff updates and Information Management training plans.
  • Facilitate Information Management and Knowledge Management working groups in coordination with command leadership.

Information Governance and Records Management

  • Ensure command information requirements are managed in accordance with MAGTF-TC, TECOM and U.S. Marine Corps policies, standards and guidance.
  • Support Information Governance, Records Management, Knowledge Management, portal governance and Information Management training requirements.
  • Develop, implement and sustain Information Management processes, business rules and operating procedures.
  • Manage portal access controls, account validation, permissions and data-accuracy requirements.
  • Apply Information Assurance and Operations Security requirements to information systems, portals and command content.
  • Assist with consolidating, reviewing and formatting policies, Training Center Orders and annexes, standard operating procedures, directives and related command documentation for government review and approval.

SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform

  • Design, configure, administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, lists, libraries, permissions and content.
  • Develop, configure and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Analyze operational, business and information requirements and translate them into secure, functional and sustainable solutions.
  • Design user interfaces, automated workflows, data-management structures and collaborative environments.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, workflow and permissions-related issues.
  • Test developed solutions for functionality, security, quality, integrity and compliance with government requirements.
  • Collect and analyze system-usage and content-performance data.
  • Recommend improvements that eliminate redundant processes, strengthen information sharing and improve mission effectiveness.

Training, Documentation and Reporting

  • Provide Information Management, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 and Power Platform instruction to government personnel.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process instructions, user guidance, training materials, reports and briefings.
  • Prepare monthly activity reports, meeting agendas, presentations, meeting minutes and action-item documentation.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of system usage, Information Management representative assignments and training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate listings of Power Platform products, SharePoint sites, organizational sections and designated Information Management representatives., * Documentation supporting the candidate’s relevant experience, certifications and security-clearance history or eligibility.
  • Three professional references who can verify the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • At least five years of cumulative hands-on experience developing and managing Microsoft Power Platform products, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • At least five years of cumulative experience developing, managing and implementing SharePoint Online environments, including data management, information architecture, site administration and permissions management.
  • At least one year of experience delivering Information Management or related technical training.
  • Demonstrated experience with Information Management, Knowledge Management, Information Governance, Records Management and portal administration.
  • Experience developing or supporting policies, standard operating procedures, directives, briefings, reports and organizational training plans.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, documentation, analytical and customer-support skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with senior leadership, technical personnel, end users and external stakeholders., Applicants must submit any additional certifications, professional credentials or completed technical training that further demonstrate their qualifications as a Subject Matter Expert.

  • Information Management or Knowledge Management certifications
  • Information Governance or Records Management certifications

  • Technical-instruction or training credentials
  • Other relevant Microsoft or information-technology certifications

Security and Government Access Requirements

  • Must possess, have previously held or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.
  • Must meet all government suitability, security and credentialing requirements.
  • Must be eligible to access government facilities, NIPRNET, SIPRNET and other required information systems.
  • Must maintain all required security, facility and network access throughout contract performance., * Copies or verification of all seven required Microsoft certifications: MS-900, MS-700, PL-300, PL-900, PL-400, MS-721 and PL-600.
