Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - TS FS Poly Required

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry standards such as ISO 27000 series, NIST, and FIPS to protect organizational assets.
• Conduct detailed security risk assessments, vulnerability research, and security analysis to identify potential threats within network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Manage and configure security tools including SIEM systems (Splunk, SolarWinds), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), firewalls (Cisco ASA), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and VPN solutions to monitor security events effectively.
• Lead incident response investigations, incident management processes, and incident recovery efforts while maintaining system security plans and disaster recovery protocols.
• Oversee network security architecture involving routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), network support for Cisco routers/switches, load balancing, high availability configurations, and network monitoring tools like PRTG or SolarWinds.
• Perform system hardening on operating systems such as Windows, Linux (Debian, CentOS), macOS, and UNIX variants; ensure compliance with security standards like FedRAMP and FISMA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud security engineering projects involving AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere, Citrix, and PaaS/IaaS models using Terraform or Ansible for automation.

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with TS FS Poly clearance to join our team. You will lead advanced security initiatives and involves designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to safeguard critical IT infrastructure and sensitive information. You must have an understanding of computer networking, security engineering, and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks. You will play a key role in enhancing our security posture, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring robust incident response capabilities across diverse environments including cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud., * Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering with a focus on network infrastructure including LAN/WAN design, Cisco ISE configuration, IPsec VPNs, DNS/DHCP management.

• Strong knowledge of information security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001/27000 series, NIST standards (SP 800 series), PCI DSS, DIACAP.
• Hands-on expertise with cybersecurity tools including SIEM platforms (Splunk), IDS/IPS systems, firewall management (Cisco ASA), threat detection & response solutions.
• Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI management, system hardening techniques, vulnerability assessment methodologies and threat intelligence analysis.
• Experience supporting cloud environments (AWS or GCP), implementing cloud security architecture and integrating cloud-specific cybersecurity controls.
• Ability to perform detailed security risk assessments investigation using open-source tools or proprietary cybersecurity software; excellent analytical skills in vulnerability research.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation; proficiency with network protocols such as TCP/IP, SSH, SSL/TLS; knowledge of scripting for incident management automation is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH or GIAC certifications are highly desirable; active TS FS Poly clearance is required.
