Job description

We are looking for a Junior Data Collection Operator to support day-to-day data collection activities for technology and user studies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with mobile devices, following detailed procedures, and accurately capturing and documenting data., * Perform data collection activities using iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other devices.

  • Follow study protocols, SOPs, and detailed instructions to ensure consistent data collection.
  • Set up and operate devices, applications, and basic study equipment.
  • Capture, enter, label, and validate collected data accurately.
  • Perform basic device checks and troubleshoot common setup or connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate study records, logs, and documentation.
  • Follow quality-control checklists and escalate issues when required.
  • Support device/inventory tracking and maintain organized equipment.
  • Work closely with team members to meet daily study and data collection requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all company and study-specific guidelines.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in data collection, data entry, QA, lab/technical operations, customer support, or a similar role.
  • Comfortable working with smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices.
  • Basic understanding of iOS/iPadOS/watchOS is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and follow a structured schedule.
  • Ability to learn new tools, applications, and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Apple products or consumer technology.
  • Experience supporting user studies, usability testing, research studies, or device testing.
  • Experience with data capture, data validation, or quality checks.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.

$25 - $26 an hour - Full-time, Contract
