Job description
As a Project Mentor, you will mentor students through every stage of the research lifecycle while maintaining the highest standards of academic quality.
Research Mentorship
- Guide students in identifying novel and research-worthy topics within their domain.
- Mentor students through literature review, research design, hypothesis formulation, questionnaire development (where applicable), data collection, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and manuscript preparation.
- Conduct one-on-one online mentoring sessions and monitor student progress through structured deliverables.
- Ensure that each project adheres to ethical research practices and academic integrity.
Research & Publication
- Mentor students in preparing manuscripts for submission to high-quality indexed journals, including:
- ABDC-listed Journals
- ScienceDirect Journals
- Scopus Indexed Journals
- Web of Science Indexed Journals
- Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 Journals
- Guide to students in preparing abstracts, posters, and presentations for national and international conferences.
- Support students in responding to reviewer comments and revising manuscripts after peer review.
- Assist students in selecting appropriate journals and conferences based on the quality and scope of their research.
Technical & Domain Expertise
Depending on your area of specialization, mentors are expected to guide students in relevant analytical tools and methodologies.

Academic Engagement
- Participate in orientation sessions, research workshops, and webinars conducted by Global R-Hub.
- Contribute innovative research ideas suitable for school, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
- Collaborate with Global Faculty members and fellow mentors to ensure academic rigor and research quality.
- Support the development of research resources, project ideas, and training material whenever required., Our mentors play a critical role in maintaining the academic reputation of the Global Research Hub. Therefore, we expect mentors to:
- Maintain the highest standards of research ethics and academic integrity.
- Deliver high-quality mentorship while adhering to strict project timelines and submission deadlines.
- Be responsive to student queries and provide constructive feedback within the agreed timelines.
- Continuously strive to produce research suitable for publication in high-impact indexed journals, including ABDC, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and Q1-Q4 journals.
- Encourage innovation, originality, and critical thinking throughout the research process.
- Represent the Global Research Hub professionally in all academic interactions.
Compensation
- This is a project-based engagement, and compensation is linked to the specific project(s) assigned.
- The honorarium varies depending on the scope, duration, complexity, and level of mentorship required for each project.
- Compensation details will be communicated and mutually agreed upon prior to the commencement of each project.
- Additional opportunities may be available for conducting workshops, webinars, expert sessions, and collaborative research initiatives.

Requirements
Qualification: Ph.D. (Completed or Pursuing) in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, STEM disciplines, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields., We are looking for passionate Project Mentors who can inspire young researchers, provide high-quality academic guidance, and help students produce publication-ready research., * Ph.D. (Completed or Pursuing) in a relevant discipline.
- Strong understanding of quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies.
- Demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed journals is highly desirable.
- Experience using statistical software, programming languages, AI tools, or domain-specific research software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for mentoring students from diverse academic backgrounds.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
