Principal Solutions Architect

Experteer Overview As the senior technical leader for federal growth, you translate agency mission needs into differentiated, secure solutions. You’ll lead end-to-end solutioning across civilian and national-security domains, shaping technical strategy and ensuring a credible plan from proposal to delivery. You collaborate with Business Development, Capture, Proposal, and Delivery to win and execute strategically important pursuits. You’ll leverage cloud-native modernization, security, and AI/ML to deliver mission value at scale. This is a high-impact role that blends architecture leadership with cross-functional execution. Compensation / Benefits * Lead end-to-end technical solution development for qualified pursuits from shaping to delivery * Translate mission needs into integrated solution architectures and delivery models * Design secure cloud/hybrid/edge solutions using AWS, Azure, Red Hat/OpenShift, Kubernetes * Incorporate modernization, microservices, API enablement, DevSecOps, data analytics, and AI/ML when valuable * Ensure designs meet availability, security, performance, scalability, and interoperability * Support capture with technical fit assessment, messaging, and risk mitigation * Own technical aspects of proposals, including architecture diagrams, cost drivers, and compliance * Conduct architecture trade studies, proofs of concept, and feasibility assessments * Lead technical readiness for oral proposals, demos, and executive briefings * Maintain reusable assets and mentor teams in federal solutioning and evaluator-focused writing * Lead technical handoff to delivery and align on transition plans and staffing Tasks * 10+ years in federal IT/architecture/solution development * 5+ years designing enterprise/cloud/modernization/cybersecurity for federal customers * 3+ years supporting federal capture, proposal development, or technical solutioning * Experience in one or more priority federal markets (HHS, DHS, DOJ) with multi-agency exposure preferred * Proven experience with strategic federal pursuits, including RFIs, demonstrations, and color-team reviews * Ability to translate complex requirements into architectures, delivery plans, and cost drivers * Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, APIs, microservices, containers, and orchestration * Experience applying federal security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance to designs * Experience with federal contracts vehicles and competitive procurement environments * Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Info Systems/Cybersecurity/Data Science or related * Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and travel as needed Key requirements * Remote work * Performance bonus eligibility * 401k with company match * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Life and disability insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions and options?
