Senior Data Engineer

If you are a self-starter, motivated, and ready to take on new challenges, we want you to succeed with us, as a part of a rapidly growing business., You’ll work closely with Data Analysts, technology teams, and business leaders to build reliable systems, improve data accessibility, and solve challenging problems across a growing, multi-location organization., * Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, and related tools.

• Build and manage data integrations and APIs across business systems.
• Optimize Snowflake, MySQL, and SQL Server databases and data models.
• Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Airflow or similar platforms.
• Integrate data from on-site systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Implement data quality, security, access controls, and governance best practices.
• Partner with Data Analysts to improve reporting, analytics, and data accessibility.
• Use Git and CI/CD to support reliable development and deployment.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or DigitalOcean.
• Troubleshoot complex data and system issues and continuously improve our data infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while helping shape our long-term data strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency designing and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Deep understanding of database management, SQL optimization, data analytics and data warehousing
• Experience with PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and C#
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Express.js, or WordPress
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of API design, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
