Lead, DevSecOps Application Architecture

Experteer Overview In this senior technical leadership role, you own the architectural direction for enterprise DevSecOps application platforms, focusing on secure software engineering and CI/CD security orchestration. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to embed security controls into architectures, tooling, and pipelines. You’ll shape the roadmap and drive engineering enablement for scalable, cloud-native solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Define and own the technical direction, architecture strategy, and roadmap for enterprise DevSecOps application platforms * Lead security tooling selection, security testing, and automation, and configure Humana tools and systems * Embed security controls into current and future application architectures and CI/CD pipelines * Lead architecture discussions, document decisions, and influence cross-functional stakeholders * Provide technical authority within the DevSecOps Engineering team and collaborate with Enterprise Information Protection and other stakeholders * Focus on secure software platforms, engineering enablement, pipeline integration, and security automation across cloud-native solutions * Maintain on-call rotation and guide teams through complex technical issues Tasks * Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent experience * 4+ years of project leadership or technical leadership * Strong software engineering background with hands-on development experience * Advanced proficiency with .NET / C# * Proficiency with Python for automation * Experience designing and leading microservices-based architectures * Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure application services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, storage/data services) * Experience with API architecture, REST API design, and API gateway patterns (Apigee preferred) * Experience integrating security, quality, or compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines * On-call rotation experience * Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps * Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) * Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB * Understanding of application security principles and secure coding practices * Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence stakeholders * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Key requirements * medical benefits * dental benefits * vision benefits * 401(k) retirement savings plan * paid time off and holidays * paid parental and caregiver leave (disability coverage)
