Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Electronic Warfare in Irvine

nAs a Senior Manufacturing Engineer within EW, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring the highest quality of production, and supporting the development and implementation of new products. • Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science \n

• 8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware \n

• Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment \n

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the delivery of electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment \n

• Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus. \n

• Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents

n WHAT YOU’LL DO\n \n \n

• Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain that includes Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) for electro-mechanical assemblies \n

• Contribute to operational excellence with a strong continuous improvement mindset and leading impactful Kaizen events \n

• Be a strong partner with Product Quality Engineering to drive and support RCCA burndowns that tackle key issues both internally and externally to EW Production \n

• Collaborate with Design Engineering teams in early to late phases of the development process to provide DFx for smooth NPI transitions \n

• Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes \n

• Write documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc. \n

• Work with contract manufacturers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development as well as at-scale production \n

• Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardware \n

• Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication and inspection, etc. \n, n

• A genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning \n

• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities \n

• Experience with RF Products that require system AI&T (assembly, integration, and test) \n

• Exposure to or interest in scaling product testing and production. \n

• Hands-on experience with software & firmware flashing or end-of-line testing & troubleshooting \n

• Software scripting experience in any \n
