Job description

We are looking for a talented senior full-stack TypeScript software engineer with Devops chops who is passionate about technology to join our growing team of product, technology, and software professionals. The initial assignment for the new position is to develop a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise. The successful candidate will work with highly experienced team leads and have an opportunity to learn new technologies, while refining fundamental skills., * Design and build a loan origination system using Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and a suite of AWS components including but not limited to EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, and Aurora. The components are primarily backend systems, but some frontend development will be needed.

  • Work with tech leads and the product team to help determine functional requirements for the system.
  • Contribute as member of an Agile team and promote Agile practices
  • Proactively collaborate with our team on development and knowledge sharing

  • Experience implementing GraphQL federation or federated graph architectures across multiple services.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for backend or full-stack development.
  • Experience consuming GraphQL APIs on the client side using tools such as Apollo Client or similar.
  • Experience developing server-side applications with Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or supporting applications in AWS environments.
  • Experience developing frontend applications using React or Angular.
  • Ability to design and optimize GraphQL schemas and queries to ensure efficient data fetching between frontend and backend services.
  • Experience collaborating across frontend and backend teams to support scalable GraphQL-based architectures.
