Job description

This role provides ongoing application support for a variety of operational and customer-facing applications, ensuring system stability and prompt issue resolution. Responsibilities include querying production SQL databases to investigate and resolve issues, troubleshooting application problems, and correcting data discrepancies beyond the capabilities of end users. The position manages and resolves service desk tickets submitted through InvGate in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs), while also tracing and analyzing .NET code to identify the root causes of application-related issues. Additionally, the role participates in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical business operations. The individual documents solutions, recurring issues, and workarounds, and assists with training end users to improve system knowledge and overall efficiency. This is a fully remote opportunity working EST hours and pay will range from $25-40/hour based on experience.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Strong experience with T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

  • Experience supporting end users and troubleshooting business applications.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or newer.

  • Ability to trace and troubleshoot C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, HTML, and JavaScript code.

  • Experience with Visual Studio .NET 2019 or newer. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of REST Web APIs.

  • Experience with XML and ANSI X12 EDI.

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or operations-focused environments.

  • Ability to train users and document processes effectively.
