We are seeking an experienced Qt/QML C++ Software Engineer to support the development of advanced software applications for next-generation military vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in C++, Qt, and QML. This position will focus on developing intuitive graphical user interfaces, application functionality, and software solutions used within complex vehicle systems. The successful candidate will work closely with software, systems, electrical, and vehicle engineering teams to develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software throughout the development lifecycle., * Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software applications using C++, Qt, and QML.

• Develop responsive and intuitive graphical user interfaces using QML/Qt Quick.
• Translate software and UI requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented C++ code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement new software features.
• Troubleshoot software defects, integration issues, and application performance problems.
• Apply modern C++ concepts, including object-oriented programming, multithreading, and networking.
• Participate in software architecture, design, and technical discussions.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to software development standards and best practices.
• Develop and support unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Utilize debugging and performance-analysis tools to identify and resolve software issues.
• Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use Git or similar version-control systems to manage source code.
• Support software integration and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate development progress, technical challenges, and project status to the appropriate engineering teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with the Qt framework.
• Experience developing graphical user interfaces using QML and Qt Quick.
• Understanding of advanced C++ concepts, including multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience with software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary engineering team.
