Job description

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer / Technical Lead to support the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise digital platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on backend engineer with strong experience building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and AWS., The ideal candidate will have a strong backend development background, experience supporting high-availability systems, and the ability to contribute to architecture discussions while remaining hands-on with coding, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment. This person will also work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and help drive strong software quality and engineering best practices., * Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot

Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs for enterprise-level platforms
Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as DynamoDB, Kinesis, IAM, SQS, SNS, and KMS
Support application design, architecture discussions, integration testing, and production troubleshooting
Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions
Mentor junior developers and promote strong coding standards and development practices

Requirements

10+ years of Java software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful web services
Backend development experience is required
AWS experience with services such as IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and KMS
Strong SQL/database development experience
DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle
Experience building high-availability and reliable software solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
