Job description
SimpleCom is seeking for motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level NOC Support Analysts to join our Network Operations Center team. In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense for monitoring infrastructure, identifying network and system anomalies, and ensuring maximum uptime for our services., * Proactive Monitoring: Monitor network infrastructure, servers, applications, and core services using centralized monitoring tools.
- Incident Triage & Management: Identify, log, and categorize incoming incidents and technical alerts; perform initial troubleshooting to isolate root causes.
- Ticketing & Documentation: Open, update, and route incident tickets accurately within the ticketing system.
- Escalation: Timely escalation of complex technical issues to Tier 2/Tier 3 engineering teams, vendors, or external service providers following established SLAs.
- Communication: Serve as a clear liaison between end-users, internal technical teams, and external stakeholders during outages or system maintenance.
- Routine Maintenance: Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), system health checks, and basic operational tasks during scheduled maintenance windows.
- Customer Service: Answering / Triage of incoming calls.
Requirements

- Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing & Switching).
- System Familiarity: Basic understanding of Mac & Windows/Linux operating systems and basic command-line utilities.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for writing clear documentation and relaying technical information during incidents.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, or holidays as part of a 24/7 rotational schedule.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred)
- Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience/training.
- Certifications: Entry-level IT/Networking certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+.
- Tool Familiarity: Prior exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) or ticketing systems.
- Customer Service: Previous experience in a helpdesk, service desk, or customer support environment.
