You will also help document IT procedures, review system alerts, maintain technology inventories, and coordinate with outside technology providers when necessary.

Because daily IT support needs can vary, this position will also be trained to assist with customer-data processing, internal software testing, quality assurance, and other operational responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems but is also comfortable contributing in other areas of the business., * Set up, configure, maintain, and replace employee computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment

  • Install and update operating systems, business applications, security software, and device drivers
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and performance issues
  • Provide technical assistance to employees in person and remotely
  • Support remote desktop, VPN, mapped-drive, and other remote-access issues
  • Perform daily server monitoring and review system alerts, logs, storage capacity, and general operating status
  • Review backup jobs regularly and verify that scheduled backups complete successfully
  • Assist with periodic backup restoration testing and document the results
  • Monitor network equipment, internet connectivity, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and related systems
  • Troubleshoot basic server and network issues and coordinate with outside specialists when escalation is required
  • Help administer employee accounts, permissions, email, multifactor authentication, and system access
  • Assist with employee technology onboarding and offboarding
  • Apply software updates, security patches, and approved configuration changes
  • Help maintain antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall, VPN, and other security systems
  • Review security alerts and promptly escalate unusual or potentially suspicious activity
  • Assist with maintaining security standards, access controls, system documentation, and evidence required for customer security reviews
  • Maintain accurate inventories of computers, software, licenses, warranties, and other technology assets
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, recurring issues, and standard IT procedures
  • Coordinate with hardware, software, internet, security, and other technology vendors
  • Research and recommend practical improvements to technology reliability, security, and efficiency
  • Assist with testing internal software, system changes, and technology updates
  • Perform quality assurance and validation of customer data and internal reports during periods of lower IT demand
  • Assist with organizing, processing, and maintaining customer data using established procedures and internal tools
  • Handle company and customer information securely and confidentially

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Approximately 2-5 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, systems support, or a related position
  • Working knowledge of Windows computers and common business applications
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, printers, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with Windows servers, remote desktop environments, VPNs, and shared network resources
  • Basic understanding of networks, including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, switches, firewalls, and wireless connectivity
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, permissions, and multifactor authentication
  • Understanding of fundamental security practices, including patching, endpoint protection, access controls, backups, password security, and least-privilege access
  • Ability to review technical alerts and logs and recognize when an issue should be escalated
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to research unfamiliar technical issues and follow them through to resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to document technical procedures clearly and accurately
  • Professional and patient communication skills when assisting employees
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond appropriately to urgent technical issues
  • Willingness to learn Card Integrity’s customer-data processes and internal software tools
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential company and customer information
  • Ability to lift and move computers, monitors, and other typical office technology equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a small or midsized business environment
  • Experience with server monitoring and backup-management systems

  • Familiarity with Fortinet, Synology, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, or similar technologies
  • Experience supporting remote desktop users
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance questionnaires, or documented IT controls
  • Experience maintaining technology inventories and system documentation
  • Experience working with customer data, quality assurance, or data-validation processes

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience across desktop support, servers, networking, backups, security, and business systems
