Software Engineer I

Under the leadership of the Software Engineering Director and in collaboration with the Global Software Development team, the Software Engineer I at New Eagle is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software that operates within embedded systems with the highest quality standards., * Code Development: Write clean, maintainable code for front-end, back-end, or mobile features based on defined specifications.

• Testing & Debugging: Identify, reproduce, and fix software defects. Build automated tests to evaluate performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and senior engineers within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, flowcharts, and code comments to assist future development.
• Continuous Learning: Rapidly adapt to new programming languages, cloud networks, and development operations (DevOps) tools.

Software Development Skills

• Familiarity with C, C++, C# programming languages
• Basic understanding of code versioning (e.g., Git) and repositories
• Strong problem-solving abilities, written/verbal communication, and a clear capacity for teamwork.
• Knowledge of Signal Processing: Familiarity with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for real-time control.
• Strong foundational knowledge of embedded programming., * 1 - 3 years of professional engineering experience in hardware product design.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
