Junior Data Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance)

• Supporting and maintaining data management systems to ensure efficient storage, access, and use of data across platforms.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement data architectures aligned with operational requirements.
• Designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes to enable reliable, high-performance data processing and access.
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate database and processing technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, HPC) based on data and query requirements.
• Ensuring effective data integration across systems to support analysis and decision-making.

Additional:

• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and be willing to submit for a CI Poly

• 1+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar.
• Proficiency using Python, SQL, Apache Airflow (or similar).
• Experience in designing and implementing data architectures and management systems.
• Familiarity in database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, HPC, and experience in selecting and configuring these technologies to optimize data systems.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL processes and data pipeline management.
• Experience in optimizing data throughput, query performance, and system responsiveness to support complex data queries and analyses.
• Experience problem-solving and working collaboratively with data users and other stakeholders.
