Job description

  • Lead the design, development, integration, and validation of hardware systems for commercial aerospace applications.
  • Support Data Transmission (TXD) hardware and controller development.
  • Coordinate hardware testing and validation activities in laboratory environments.
  • Collaborate with FPGA, mechanical, software, systems, and verification engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support legacy TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) products and triage activities. Candidates with CNS (Communication, Navigation & Surveillance) experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ensure hardware designs meet aerospace quality and engineering standards.

Requirements

Cyient is seeking experienced Lead Hardware Engineers to support Commercial Aerospace programs focused on Data Transmission (TXD) hardware and controller development. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on hardware expertise, and experience working in an avionics environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • 10-25 years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Strong background in hardware design and development.
  • Experience working with FPGA-based hardware and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating hardware testing in laboratory environments.
  • Experience with TCAS or CNS avionics systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ, 3 days per week., * Previous experience with aerospace/avionics companies is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial avionics hardware development.
  • Familiarity with aerospace development and certification processes.
