Experteer Overview In this role you will support the lifecycle of prototype and operational satellite ground systems, ensuring robust design, verification, and sustainment. You will collaborate with government partners and cross-functional teams to define requirements, architectures, and concepts while managing interfaces and performance baselines. You will drive system integration, testing, and lifecycle planning to maintain mission capabilities and reduce downtime. Compensation / Benefits * Apply disciplined systems engineering across design, integration, and sustainment to protect system capabilities. * Develop and review ground system designs and architectures aligned with mission requirements. * Define and manage system interfaces and ensure requirements remain compliant with existing systems. * Recommend improvements for redundancy, downtime reduction, and backups; identify points of failure. * Support mission concept development, CONOPS/CONEMP, and high-level requirements; assess technical feasibility and risks. * Support developmental, integration, and verification activities to meet system performance requirements. * Interface with mission partners throughout the systems engineering process; contribute to SEMP and lifecycle sustainment planning. Tasks * Strong knowledge of systems engineering, architecture, requirements development, interface definition, and baseline management. * Experience applying a disciplined SE approach across design, integration, verification, and sustainment. * Experience developing or supporting SEMP content, including V&V, metrics, tools, schedule, and SE processes. * Experience reviewing and managing requirements with Government stakeholders and mission partners. * Experience supporting system integration, interoperability, and test planning/reporting. * Experience with configuration management and formal change-control processes. * Ability to identify technical risks, single points of failure, and improvement opportunities. * Strong communication skills for coordination with government, partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams. * Ability to work in classified environments and comply with security guidance.
