Network Engineer

Responsibilities * Monitor network performance to ensure system availability, reliability, and optimal performance. * Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiAP wireless networks, Cisco switching infrastructure, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, and Cisco access points. * Provide Tier 2 support for network incidents and service requests at local and remote sites. * Perform network maintenance, upgrades, lifecycle refresh activities, and network documentation updates as needed. * Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and VPN-related issues. * Work within established configuration management and change control processes to ensure awareness, approval, and successful implementation of network changes. * Implement network security controls in accordance with cybersecurity policies and standards. * Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications * Experience with warehouse distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or high-density wireless environments. * Exposure to network monitoring, logging, and management platforms such as FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, SolarWinds, or Microsoft Sentinel. * Experience with BGP, OSPF, static routing, route redistribution, and multi-site network design.
