Software Engineering & Development Lead, Vice President, Onsite

Experteer Overview In this role you lead software engineering teams to build large-scale, enterprise-grade applications in the cloud. You will partner with business, architecture, infrastructure, and risk groups to deliver strategic solutions and ensure production readiness and operational stability. You will mentor engineers, communicate progress to senior leaders, and contribute hands-on in critical cloud-driven delivery initiatives. This position centers on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems in AWS for a global business unit. Compensation / Benefits * Lead software engineering teams delivering large-scale enterprise applications * Partner with business, architecture, infrastructure, and risk teams to deliver strategic technology solutions * Oversee solution design, development, production readiness, and operational stability * Mentor engineering talent and foster a culture of innovation and accountability * Communicate technology strategy, risks, and delivery progress to senior leadership * Design and develop cloud-native applications in AWS for the IMS West business unit * Provide hands-on support during critical delivery initiatives and complex production challenges Tasks * 12+ years’ IT experience developing enterprise applications and data processing solutions * Experience with multi-platform, multi-database and/or multi-language environments * Hands-on AWS Compute services experience (EC2, Lambda, ECS or EKS) and AWS RDS (Postgres SQL development) * Hands-on ReactJS or equivalent front-end experience * Experience designing and delivering solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms * Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, and serverless patterns * Experience leading agile delivery and SDLC processes * Financial industry experience with reporting/regulatory projects is a plus * Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Key requirements * 401K with company match * medical, dental, vision insurance * paid time off * Employee Assistance Program * incentive compensation * flexible work-life support
