Job description
The SAP Developer/Global Support Manager - Cloud and Data Engineering Architect role is a senior-level position responsible for leading architecture design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale cloud solutions. This role focuses on modernizing DEA’s cloud-native integration platform to support statewide agency integrations, SCEIS, and enterprise business applications. The position offers a fully remote work environment with occasional onsite visits and requires expertise in Azure Cloud and integration architecture. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and govern enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
- Provide senior-level architecture leadership for modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a cloud-native integration platform for statewide agencies and enterprise applications.
- Manage global support for SAP development and integration efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Participate in virtual or onsite interviews and meetings as required.
- Comply with security and travel policies as mandated by the organization., * Fully remote work with approximately 2-4 onsite days per month or as directed.
- All travel-related expenses for onsite visits are the responsibility of the resource.
- No South Carolina residency required; open to nationwide candidates.
- Must adhere to security requirements and maintain necessary clearances.
Scheduling:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours aligned with Eastern Time Zone.
- Contract duration of 12 months with possibility of extension.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience in Azure Cloud and integration architecture.
- Strong background in SAP development and global support management.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native integration platforms.
- Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain required security clearance.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with statewide agency integrations and SCEIS systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise business application integration.
- Prior experience in remote work environments with occasional onsite presence.
- Additional cloud certifications related to Azure or integration technologies.
