- Support and enhance enterprise Kubernetes and Linux KVM infrastructure, focusing on OpenShift Kubernetes and Red Hat Linux.
- Administer and maintain OpenShift Kubernetes clusters using console, command line, automation, and advanced management tools.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes utilizing Ansible, shell scripting, and other automation solutions.
- Configure and manage scalable storage solutions such as GPFS (IBM Spectrum Scale) and implement data protection strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
Requirements
Our client, a leader in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Kubernetes Linux Systems Administrator to join their team. As a Kubernetes Linux Systems Administrator, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting enterprise-level cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to system management, which will align successfully in the organization., * Minimum of 10 years of Linux system administration experience, with at least 5 years in Kubernetes cluster management.
- Proficiency in installing and automating Linux OS, especially Red Hat distributions.
- Strong scripting skills in shell, Python, or Go, and experience with automation tools like Ansible.
- Deep understanding of SELinux, Linux firewall management, and storage management using LVM and disk encryption techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document complex technical processes clearly., * Remote work flexibility supporting work-life balance.
