Job description

We are seeking a skilled C# Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on software development experience to join our engineering team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, and object-oriented programming. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while working closely with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other development teams., * Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

  • Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and Web Services using ASP.NET Core/Web API.
  • Build and maintain enterprise applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Develop database-driven applications using SQL Server.
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Work with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core for database integration.
  • Participate in application design, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production problems.
  • Develop reusable and maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Integrate applications with internal and external APIs and third-party services.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Work with Git-based source control and follow established branching and code-review practices.
  • Prepare technical documentation related to application design, development, and support.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#.
  • Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Unit Testing using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
