Data Architect

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Architect in Orem, UT., The client is currently evaluating Microsoft Fabric as Microsoft moves away from Synapse long term. They are beginning a POC, which will serve as the initial use case and learning environment for the organization. The consultant needs to integrate with engineers and DBA’s to understand and evaluate the current environment and make recommendations on best practices moving forward.

Duties:

• Help establish appropriate row-level/data-access security
• Work closely with teams and business stakeholders
• Document architecture, decisions, lessons learned and implementation standards

• 10+ years of Data architecture and data modeling expertise
• Strong Microsoft Fabric experience
• Experience designing secure, governed data environments
• Working knowledge of Synapse environment
• Understand ingestion, data lakes/lakehouses, pipelines, modeling, security and access controls

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
