Unit Deployment Technician (Administration Generalist 1) - 29947

HII- Mission Technologies is currently seeking an Unit Program Support Tech to provide mission support for aviation training and operations at Beale AFB, California.

This is a community of mission-focused partners that start here and grow here., * Prepare and process individuals for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations based on U.S. Government, DoD, AF, COCOM, and any other applicable guidance

• Generate and brief squadron and upper echelon leadership on the status of personnel readiness
• Liaison with the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) and Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR) to act as the unit POC for deployment related topics
• Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training with the deploying personnel, their supervisor, and flight scheduling.
• Acquire and maintain access to the Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS) to schedule Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) survival and Combat Arms pre-deployment training.
• Utilize Commanders Tool Kit (CCTK), Logistics Modernization (LOGMOD) and AFFORGEN systems to track pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility requirements
• Utilize the Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), Deployment Medical Clearances (DMC) module to monitor unit members through the Pre/Post Deployment Health Assessment process.
• Utilize Air Force Input Tool (AF-IT) within the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) to report the status of unit resources
• Coordinate and assign Ready Airman Training (RAT) and Advanced Readiness Training based on COCOM directed requirements.
• Make recommendations to the unit resource advisor to procure deployment equipment specified by deployed commander’s reporting instructions. Maintain this equipment and distribute individual equipment to deploying personnel.
• Manage deployment reporting in the Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates.
• Use LOGMOD and AFFORGEN to track pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements.
• Interface with Government-designated Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaison officers, and unit/group/wing resource advisors to arrange and/or de-conflict deployment/re-deployment travel.
• Coordinate with wing, base and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues and maintain mobility folders/documentation IAW DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-403, associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.

• Minimum one (1) year experience working in a squadron-level or higher mobility office.
• 1 years expereince with a Bachelor’s or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working in a Fighter Squadron/Group/Wing Commander’s Support Section.
• Experience working with Air Force or DoD computer programs, sites, or software.

Physical Requirements

• Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
