Java Developer

• Design and develop cloud-native services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices on AWS with attention to reliability and scalability.
• Develop integrations and web services using SOAP and REST.
• Build data access layers using ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
• Contribute to UI interactions leveraging jQuery as needed.
• Apply design patterns and object-oriented principles.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability.

• 8+ years of Java/J2EE with strong object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Hands-on Spring 3.x and Spring Boot with microservices.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis).
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as DB2.
• Experience building SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• jQuery experience for front-end interactions.
• Integration tool experience is a plus.
• Excellent design skills.

Rate: $65.00 to $72.00/hr. w2, Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
