SAP Basis Senior Administrator

Responsible for the performance, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and availability of SAP and OpenText applications, including associated SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL databases. The resource must have hands-on administration experience with both SAP ABAP and Java NetWeaver applications, including exposure to S/4HANA in a hybrid virtual/mixed operating-system environment. The resource is expected to support and manage the City’s SAP landscape while maintaining 24x7 availability., Identify cloud, server, OS, disk and network requirements. Install, upgrade and patch SAP applications, add-ons, plug-ins and vendor components. Install, upgrade and patch SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server. Perform database administration, backup and recovery. Administer SAP applications, databases and client landscapes. Perform performance monitoring and tuning. Perform system/client refreshes. Administer TMS and transport processing. Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis. Support disaster recovery planning and implementation. Support SAP/non-SAP interfaces and system integration. Support application printing infrastructure. Provide front-end desktop/end-user support. Support SAP users and ERP functional/development teams. Represent the ERP Basis Team in project activities.

10+ years senior-level SAP Basis administration experience. Experience operating in an SAP metrics-driven environment. Experience supporting large SAP environments. Experience assisting or technically leading at least 10 full SAP lifecycle implementations and/or version upgrades., SAP Basis Linux and Windows SAP HANA Microsoft SQL Server SAP ABAP Java NetWeaver ECC-to-S/4HANA migration S/4HANA C/4HANA and/or BW/4HANA SAP Basis certification Strong analytical and communication skills.
