Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Operations Specialist to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help optimize our IT environment, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and deliver exceptional support to end-users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and customer service excellence are valued., * Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware, software, operating systems (including Windows, macOS, and Linux), and network issues.

  • Manage help desk systems and customer support tickets to ensure timely resolution of user requests.
  • Support computer networking activities such as LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks including hardware repairs, equipment troubleshooting, computer management, and software configuration.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts, manage user permissions, and support computer management tasks across Windows Server environments.
  • Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure components including routers, switches, mobile devices, and other network hardware.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze system performance issues and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of support activities to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support roles with a strong background in help desk systems and customer service.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), Windows Server environments, macOS, and Linux distributions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware components such as computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Experience managing Active Directory accounts and user permissions in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS servers, and TCP/IP networks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
