Job description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional engineering programs, manage technical customer commitments, and ensure successful delivery across multiple hardware and software initiatives. This role bridges engineering execution with customer expectations, driving planning, risk management, and program delivery in a fast-paced robotics and hardware environment., * Manage technical customer relationships, including planning, milestone tracking, issue resolution, and communication.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to deliver multiple concurrent customer programs.
- Develop and maintain project plans, status dashboards, risk registers, and delivery tracking processes.
- Identify blockers, drive escalations, and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
- Align engineering priorities with customer commitments and business objectives.
- Monitor project health, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, product, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Improve program management processes to support organizational growth and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Project Manager, or Technical Project Manager in a hardware-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of software development and hardware product development lifecycles.
- Experience managing technical customer engagements, including planning, milestone management, escalations, and recovery.
- Ability to understand engineering designs, technical specifications, and architectural trade-offs.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced product development environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management tools and lightweight planning frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in robotics, automation, embedded systems, or hardware product development.
- Experience managing multiple customer deployments or pilot programs simultaneously.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial automation, or factory operations.
- Previous software engineering or robotics engineering experience before transitioning into program management.
