Job description

Collaborate with internal application teams to implement coding changes in COBOL and ADS programs
Work with both IDMS Network and IDMS Relational databases
Analyze technical and design specifications to develop solutions
Perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing
Support QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and external testing cycles by resolving defects
Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
Work collaboratively with distributed teams and external vendors
Participate in on-call support rotation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Mainframe development?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in COBOL-based mainframe systems, strong debugging skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams., * 10+ years of experience with Mainframe systems

10+ years of experience with MVS COBOL
10+ years of experience with JCL (Job Control Language)
10+ years of experience with IDMS (Network Database), * 7+ years of experience with CA-ADS
5+ years of experience with Changeman
5+ years of experience with CICS
5+ years of experience with VSAM

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAS
Familiarity with File-AID
Knowledge of Medicaid or Medicare claims processing systems
Experience with MQ (Messaging Queues)
Exposure to Endevor
Experience with Xpeditor
