Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst III

Experteer Overview In this role you will translate cyber threat insights into actionable guidance for stakeholders, helping to strengthen defenses across enterprise teams. You’ll analyze evolving threat landscapes, track campaigns, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts in a collaborative security function. The work supports Expedia’s mission to protect travelers and partners by reducing exposure to cyber threats. You will work with diverse teams to contextualize risks and shape practical security recommendations. Compensation / Benefits * Conduct operational and tactical threat intelligence research to deliver timely, actionable insights * Assess threat impact with stakeholders and support mitigation decisions * Analyze data on cyber threat trends and recommend action plans to technical and operational teams * Develop expertise across platforms, threat vectors, and threat actors to track campaigns * Apply cyberattack analysis and kill chain concepts to improve controls and profile adversaries * Perform technical analysis on exploits, indicators, network traffic, and malware * Partner with peer teams to provide all-source threat intelligence and context * Perform continuous threat monitoring on high-risk threats * Support third-party and supply chain risk efforts with threat reporting * Suggest improvements to threat intelligence practices and maintain playbooks * Collaborate with senior analysts on campaigns and threat actor tracking; mentor newer analysts * Engage with external communities to track threats and trends Tasks * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience * At least 4 years in cybersecurity, with 2 years in cyber threat intelligence * Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and the cyber kill chain * Ability to translate technical findings into practical business recommendations * Curious, analytical mindset with rigorous threat intelligence tradecraft * Strong ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences * Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize intelligence requirements * Experience with cyber defense operations, security monitoring, or incident response * Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global, virtual environment * Demonstrated threat intelligence analysis experience with knowledge of application and network security * Strong written and verbal communication for concise intelligence products Key requirements * medical, dental, vision coverage * paid time off * Employee Assistance Program * wellness and travel reimbursement * travel discounts * IATAN membership
